Nashville Downtown Riverfront Greenway Along with the master plan and construction documents for this prominent greenway along the west bank of the Cumberland River, HPI also developed a series of interpretive signs and trailhead maps. This greenway corridor is rich with history including: existing stone foundations along the bluff from the 1880s; abandoned rail lines from the 1930s; Trail of Tears crossing in the 1830s; an abandoned streetcar power house; and two historic river wharf sites.
