Lily's Garden

This playground was built to accommodate children of all abilities. The playground and equipment was custom designed and built to provide 70% accessibility, over double the national requirement. The inspiration for Lily's Garden was Lily Shaw, diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy. Lynne Shaw, Lily's mother, had a dream to allow Lily to play alongside of her brothers. Lily's Garden is the realization of that dream. The playground was constructed through a community effort involving hundreds of volunteers.
