Shelby Park Master Plan

This 336-acre park is one of Nashville’s most active regional parks. The master plan seeks to provide a comprehensive plan to guide future developments and improve pedestrian and vehicular circulation. As one of Nashville’s oldest parks, the historical features and existing park follies were important in developing the master plan.

The plan also included an extensive community outreach process including a series of community meetings. This input was valuable to develop the overall goals and design principles to guide the final design recommendations.
