McCabe Community Center

This new center is a redevelopment of an existing community center. As part of the design team HPI was involved in community meetings, site development and landscape related construction documents.

The new center was sited to protect large existing trees and historic site features. Pedestrian connections to the neighborhood, adjacent parks, golf course and greenway were important. A number of sustainable features are planned including rain gardens and a green roof.
