Chattanooga Urban Area Bicycle Facilities Master Plan

Hawkins Partners, Inc. led the design team in the development of a network of bicycle facilities throughout Hamilton County and North Georgia. This master planning process involved strong public participation through workshops and advisory committees.

The Plan included the inventory and evaluation of existing facilities, review and recommendations of public policy, identification of bicycle routes, design standards, cost estimates and prioritization, and recommended public education programs and policies. The Plan was a winner of the 2002 ASLA, Tennessee Chapter, Award of Excellence.
