Mack Hatcher Parkway Context Sensitive Design

HPI collaborated with the design team as part of a Context Sensitive Solutions/Design (CSS/D) process for gaining public input to design solutions for the widening and extension of Mack Hatcher Parkway.

This CSS/D process, the first of its kind in Tennessee, addresses safety, public involvement, roadway enhancement and aesthetics, contextual understanding, traffic calming, and environmental and historic sensitivity while striving to provide a scenic and unique transportation facility.
