Schermerhorn Symphony Center

The three-acre downtown site features a 1,900-seat performance hall. With an overall project budget of $120 million dollars, HPI collaborated to develop a site plan in relationship to its urban context.

Site features include a public plaza, private garden areas, a private courtyard for the use of patrons and a total of nine fountains and four public art installations. One Symphony Place, the public street on the north side of the site, was designed as a pedestrian oriented promenade.
