Kira is an energetic designer with a passion for innovative sustainable design practices, plants and urban landscapes. Kira recently relocated to Nashville from New York City where, as an associate at Balmori Associates, she led a range of projects and competitions around the world. She has endless enthusiasm for collaborative design and desires to make every project unique. Kira is an adjunct assistant professor at Parsons, the New School for Design and contributes to the global conversation about landscape architecture as a writer and editor for several design related blogs. Kira holds a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Landscape Horticulture, Design and Construction from Colorado State University.
